How to take Prochlorperazine Buccal Tablets

The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years old is one or two tablets twice a day.

1. Place the tablet high along the top gum under your top lip.
2. The tablet will adhere to the gum and dissolve. Allow it to dissolve completely, which may take 1–2 hours; most people stop noticing the tablet after a few minutes.
3. Do not move the tablet around your mouth with your tongue as this can cause it to dissolve too quickly.

Do not chew or swallow the tablet.

If you wear dentures, you can place the tablet anywhere that is comfortable between your lip and gum.

It is best if you take Prochlorperazine buccal tablets after meals.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
