How to use Betamethasone with Clioquinol Cream
Always apply Betamethasone with Clioquinol Cream exactly as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist.

This medicine is for external use only.
Directions
Use this product once or twice a day. Wash your hands before and after applying the medicine.
Apply a thin layer of the cream carefully to the affected area(s).
If you have been using any airtight dressings on the affected skin, you should clean the area before using the cream. Apply a new dressing after you have applied the cream.
If you have not noticed any improvement after using this product for a few days, please speak to your doctor.
Continued use of this product may cause an infection to become resistant to clioquinol.
If you are using any other topical medicines alongside this one, you should wait for at least 30 minutes between applying one treatment before applying the other. This will stop the medicine from being diluted.

Side Effects
While using this medication, you may experience:
- A burning or itching sensation on or around the affected area
- Bumps under areas of skin that are affected by psoriasis

Serious allergic reaction
In rare cases, you may experience a serious allergic reaction to Betamethasone with Clioquinol Cream.
Go to A&E or dial 999 straight away if you notice any of the following symptoms:
- You have tightness in your chest or throat
- You have swelling in your face, throat, chest, lips or tongue
- You have a skin rash that may have red, itchy, swollen, blistered or peeling skin
- You are finding it hard to breathe or speak
- You are wheezing

Warnings and drug interactions
Before using this medicine, please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are currently using any other form of medicine. This includes both prescription and non-prescription medication, herbal remedies, vitamins and supplements as some medicines can interact with the ingredient beatametasone.
Also, inform your doctor or pharmacist if you intend to take a new medicine while you are using this product.
If you suffer from any of the following conditions, Betamethasone and Clioquinol Cream can make them worse:
- Viral infections, such as chicken pox, herpes or cold sores
- Acne
- Rosacea (flushing of the skin around your nose)
- Perioral dermatitis (a rash around your mouth)
- Bacterial infections
- Fungal infections (such as athlete's foot or thrush)
You must not use this cream on inflamed skin around the anus or genitals unless your doctor has specifically instructed you to do so.
Exercise caution if you are applying the cream under a nappy or airtight dressing, as too much of the medicine may be absorbed into the skin. This increases the risk of suffering side effects.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Do not use this medicine without speaking to your doctor if you are currently pregnant, trying to get pregnant, think you might be pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
